ABS With Brake Assist
When the brake pedal is stepped on quickly during what is determined to be an emergency situation, the four-sensor, four-channel Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist [1] is triggered. If the driver does not apply enough pressure to the pedal, the system provides supplemental braking power. And to help provide even greater control, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) modulates the amount of fluid pressure distributed to the brakes.
