Multi-Information Display with Steering-Wheel Switchgear

The multi-information display on the RX 450h uses white OLED (Organic Light Emitting Diode) technology. Unlike conventional TFT displays that require backlighting, the OLED display on the RX 450h offers superior visibility through vibrant self-luminescent characters sharply displayed on a high-contrast black background and ensures readability from an angle wide enough for even the front passenger to read. A multi-information switch on the steering wheel enables the driver to operate the available Intuitive Park Assist, Adaptive Front Lighting System (AFS) [1] and to select an array of other personalized settings without removing your hands from the steering wheel.

[1]The Adaptive Front Lighting System can help improve vision at night. However, conditions such as a dirty windshield, rapidly changing light conditions or hilly terrain will limit effectiveness so the driver may need to manually change the high beams from on to off.
