Active Front Headrests
The RX comes equipped with active front headrests [1] for the driver and front passenger. In certain low-speed rear-end collisions, the active front headrests use the force of the occupant's body against the seatback to move the headrest diagonally upward and forward instantaneously to help support the head, thereby helping to reduce the possibility of whiplash.
