ABS With Brake Assist

Stepping on the brake pedal quickly and forcefully during an emergency situation activates the four-sensor, four-channel Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist [1]. Once activated, the system provides supplemental braking power if the driver does not apply enough pressure to the pedal. And to help provide even greater control, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) modulates the amount of fluid pressure distributed to the front and rear brakes.

[1]Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take full advantage of the benefits of ABS. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake-system maintenance, tire and road conditions. Back to top
