The LX offers Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) [1], where wheel-speed, steering-angle and yaw-rate sensors work together to detect the onset of a loss of traction while cornering. If the onset of a skid is identified, the system can apply brakes to the appropriate wheel to control yaw and even reduce the throttle to help keep the vehicle on track.
Four-wheel Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) deploys power to the appropriate wheels during slippery conditions.
