Dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence and Electronic intake valve timing (VVT-iE) optimizes both the intake and exhaust valve timing throughout the rpm range, according to engine and driving conditions. The system continuously monitors the engine's speed and load, then responds by delivering optimum power for each situation, helping deliver improved fuel economy and reduced emissions. Torque is increased at lower speeds for better thrust. And power is boosted at higher speeds for better acceleration. The electronic intake valve control improves response in all temperature conditions.
