With a 15-channel amplifier rated at less than 0.1% THD 20–20,000 Hz, the 7.1-channel surround sound is a treat for even the most discerning ear. The speakers were specifically designed for the Mark Levinson Reference Surround Sound Audio System, and many are made with metal cones for superior sound recreation.

Besides playing a wide range of formats, the system also decodes MP3/Windows Media® Audio (WMA) files. The Hard Disk Drive has a 2,000-song capacity so you can download your collection, then conveniently sort and listen to your favorite songs without having to switch CDs. The available XM® Radio [3] offers a tremendous variety of virtually commercial-free programming across the country, through a nationwide network of over 170 digital channels, including music, news, sports, lifestyle, weather and XM NavTraffic®, which is real-time traffic information provided by XM Radio.

And standard on the LS, you’ll find an MP3/WMA port located just inside the center armrest. This auxiliary port can accept a standard stereo miniplug from portable audio devices such as MP3 or WMA players. Just plug in to enjoy your entire library through the remarkable LS sound system.
