Four-Wheel Disc Brakes

The ventilated disc brakes of the IS have special ducts inside to help dissipate heat, resulting in improved braking performance. The IS 250 C features ventilated front discs, while the IS 350 C has ventilated disc brakes for all four wheels. For additional assurance, the IS comes with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist [1], which makes it easier for the driver to perform emergency maneuvers while braking.
