Six-speed Manual Transmission (IS 250 C)
A traditional manual transmission is standard on the IS 250 Convertible, featuring six speeds for enhanced performance and better fuel efficiency.
Performance Brakes
The IS 250C features floating two-piston front calipers for impressive braking power. The IS 350C offers even greater stopping power, utilizing alloy monoblock four-piston front calipers, as well as larger front-brake rotors.
V6 Engines
The IS 350C is equipped with a 3.5-liter 306-hp [1] V6. The IS 250C features a 2.5-liter 204-hp [1] V6.
Ultra-Low Emissions
The 2010 IS Convertible carries an Ultra-Low Emission Vehicle (ULEV II) certification from the EPA.
Optimized Suspension
The entire suspension system has been fine-tuned to provide excellent balance between ride and handling, regardless of the position of the top.
Rear-Wheel Drive
The IS Convertible comes standard with rear-wheel drive to help optimize vehicle handling and balance.
Direct Injection
Gasoline is injected directly into the engine's combustion chamber for better power and improved mileage.
Six-speed Paddle-shift Automatic Transmission
The IS Convertible features an available six-speed sequential-shift automatic transmission, controlled by steering-wheel-mounted paddle shifters, for faster shifting and better fuel economy.
