This sleek, stylish hardtop retracts in about 20 seconds.

A coefficient of drag of 0.29 helps give the IS Convertible a quieter ride and improved fuel economy.

While parking, available ultrasonic sensors help warn the driver when the vehicle is getting too close to objects nearby.

The available Dynamic Radar Cruise Control helps maintain a pre-set following distance from the car in front of you.

The retractable hardtop even includes a braking mechanism that helps minimize undesirable noise during operation.

When a transmitter in the key fob is sensed by the SmartAccess system [1] [2], the vehicle will unlock the door for you with a simple touch of the handle.

Available Bi-Xenon™ HID headlamps include LED daytime running lights.

The IS Convertible comes equipped with standard 17-inch alloy wheels [3], but is also available with 18-inch alloy wheels [4].

Thanks to a seamlessly integrated retracting hardtop, this aggressive-looking coupe is also a stunning convertible.

When the vehicle is placed in reverse, the available backup camera [5] displays what it can detect on the navigation screen located in the center console.

Foglamps are built into the front bumper to help improve visibility in inclement weather.

For easier parallel parking, available reverse tilt-down side-view mirrors are linked to the gear shifter and tilt down when the vehicle is placed in reverse. Turn signals are also integrated into the side-view mirrors to help warn other drivers of intended lane changes or turns.

[1]The SmartAccess system may interfere with some pacemakers or cardiac defibrillators. If you have one of these medical devices, please talk to your doctor to see if you should deactivate this system. [2]The engine immobilizer is a state-of-the-art anti-theft system. When you insert your key into the ignition switch or bring a SmartAccess fob into the vehicle, the key transmits an electronic code to the vehicle. The engine will only start if the code in the transponder chip inside the key or SmartAccess fob matches the code in the vehicle's immobilizer. Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key or SmartAccess fob, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key or SmartAccess fob, your Lexus dealer can help. Alternatively, you can find a qualified independent locksmith to perform high-security key services by consulting your local Yellow Pages or by contacting www.aloa.org. [3]17-in performance tires are expected to experience greater tire wear than conventional tires. Tire life may be substantially less than 20,000 miles, depending upon driving conditions. [4]18-in performance tires are expected to experience greater tire wear than conventional tires. Tire life may be substantially less than 15,000 miles, depending upon driving conditions. [5]The backup camera does not provide a comprehensive view of the rear area of the vehicle. You should also look around outside your vehicle and use your mirrors to confirm rearward clearance. Cold weather may limit effectiveness and view may become cloudy. Back to top
