Four-Wheel Disc Brakes
The ventilated disc brakes of the IS have special ducts inside to help dissipate heat, resulting in improved braking performance. The IS 250 features ventilated front discs, while the IS 350 has ventilated disc brakes for all four wheels. For additional assurance, the IS comes with an Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist [1], which makes it easier for the driver to perform emergency maneuvers while braking.
