The available Heads-up Display (HUD) system on the HS 250h can project simple navigation directions, audio information and vehicle speed onto the windshield in front of you, so you can spend more time focused on the road ahead. Unlike other Heads-up Display systems that provide intersection names, requiring the driver to locate street signs, the navigation directions on the system in the HS Hybrid are provided using a countdown of the remaining distance before an action needs to be taken and an animated arrow that guides you intuitively through turns.
The HUD system even helps keeps your eyes focused on the road by putting what's at your fingertips right in front of them. It's a feat accomplished by touch sensors built into the steering wheel. When you touch any of the five steering-wheel-mounted controls, these sensors mimic your movements on the HUD screen, displaying the buttons you are touching so you can select functions without looking down at your fingers.
