To help control a loss of traction in turns, the GX employs Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) [1]. This technology uses sensors to monitor wheel speed, steering angle and your rate of travel to detect a skid. Should there be a loss of traction, VSC may apply brakes to individual wheels or reduce throttle to correct it. Active Traction Control (A-TRAC) directs power to the wheels with the most traction to help control wheelspin on mud, sand and ice.
