Hill-Start Assist Control

Hill-start Assist Control (HAC) [1] helps increase control during hill climbing, or stopping and starting on slippery surfaces. While stopped on an incline, a vehicle may roll back once the driver steps off the brake. HAC helps slow down the GX's slipping speed by gently applying the brakes.
