Your time spent behind the wheel is only one part of the Lexus ownership experience. Being a Lexus owner means knowing every technician who services your vehicle has met some of the highest service standards in the industry. It's the flexibility of having numerous vehicle systems personalized to your specific needs. And it's the convenience of knowing any dealer in the country can access your past and pending Lexus service records through a database that's the first of its kind in the industry.
THE LEXUS SERVICE EXPERIENCE
When you bring your vehicle into your Lexus dealer, you can be
certain of two things: quality service and certified Lexus parts. Of course, there's nobody more
qualified to install those parts than an authorized Lexus service technician. They specialize in
the maintenance and repair of Lexus vehicles. In fact, many of our technicians are graduates from
the Lexus Commitment to Perfection Certification program, where in-depth training and rigorous
exams-from both Lexus and the National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence-are required.
Another benefit of maintaining your vehicle at your Lexus dealer is the Lexus National Service History database. A first of its kind in the automotive industry, this system keeps track of your vehicle's service history. As long as you have your vehicle serviced at a Lexus dealership, there will always be a record of which repairs have been done and, more importantly, which repairs still need to be performed - no matter which Lexus dealership you take your vehicle to.
As you might assume, Lexus dealerships provide much more than great technical service. Many dealerships offer a wide range of luxuries, such as custom waiting lounges, Lexus loaner vehicles, complimentary car washes and free pick up and delivery. Some dealerships even provide concierge services and office areas for customers to conduct business in. It's this kind of exceptional treatment that keeps our clientele returning again and again.
Lexus has a wide range of amenities and programs. This list provides a short overview of the most notable ones:
TECHNICAL SERVICE INFORMATION
Your Lexus can be enjoyed for many years with proper maintenance. To make
taking care of your vehicle as easy as possible, Lexus maintains a comprehensive electronic library
containing all of the product support information needed to maintain, diagnose and repair our vehicles. In
one convenient place, you'll find complete service support information on every Lexus dating back to the 1990
model year.
Lexus has designed this online library to be easy to use and accessible on a subscription basis, with flexible terms to meet your needs. You can search for specific text across vehicle models and years, as well as publication types. New information is included as soon as it's available.

LEXUS PERSONALIZED SETTINGS (LPS)
Certain electronic functions can be customized to an owner's
individual preference, such as automatic door locks, theft-deterrent system, power window system,
illuminated entry system and moonroof operation. Each Lexus model has a different set of customizable
electronic features. Programming of these features is performed once at no charge at the 30 day/1,000
mile scheduled maintenance service (2008 models only), or within 12 months of the vehicle's
in-service date. Since special programming is required, these settings can only be adjusted at your
Lexus dealer. For more information please see your local Lexus dealer.
