This available service* is designed to provide emergency help at a moment's notice. It helps you stay secure on the road without requiring a mobile phone.
Enhanced Roadside Assistance* practically eliminates the need for other roadside assistance organizations. With the added benefit of GPS technology, it makes Lexus' standard roadside service even more convenient. Whether your vehicle has run out of gas, has a flat tire, needs to be towed or requires a jump-start, assistance can be sent to your vehicle's location—all at the press of the Emergency Assistance Button (SOS).
Whether it's a health emergency, a traffic accident or some other urgent situation where help is required, a single press of the Emergency Assistance Button (SOS) will connect you to a 24-hour Safety Connect®* response center agent. Using your vehicle's GPS technology, the agent will send emergency services to your vehicle's location while offering to stay on the line with you until help arrives.
If you ever file a police report stating that your vehicle has been stolen, local authorities can remotely activate its tracking beacon using the vehicle's embedded cellular and GPS technology. This helps them to recover it more quickly and may minimize the amount of damage that can be incurred. Unlike some third-party services, the Stolen Vehicle Location system also works across the United States.
In the event that your vehicle's airbags* deploy or you're involved in a severe rear-end collision, you'll be automatically connected to a Safety Connect* response center agent. Which Lexus vehicle models are available with Lexus Enform?
Lexus Enform* is available on all Navigation-equipped* Lexus vehicles manufactured after August 1, 2009.
I purchased my vehicle before Lexus Enform with Safety Connect® was available. Can my vehicle be retrofit with Lexus Enform with Safety Connect hardware?
No. Lexus Enform* and Safety Connect* are available only as factory-installed options on select 2010 and later Lexus models.
Will my Lexus Enform and Safety Connect services be active by the time my vehicle arrives at the dealership?
Yes. If you have been enrolled by the dealer or by calling 1-800-25-LEXUS, vehicles equipped with Lexus Enform* and/or Safety Connect* will arrive pre-activated.
What languages does Lexus Enform support?
Lexus Enform* Destination Assist operators support many languages, including English and Spanish. eDestination features on LexusDrivers.com currently support English only.
Are there geographic limitations to the Lexus Enform services?
For owners residing in the United States, Safety Connect* services will function in the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska, and in Canada. The services will not function outside of the United States in countries other than Canada.
Lexus Enform* premium services Destination Assist and eDestination will function in the contiguous United States. These services may also function in Hawaii and limited areas of Alaska for vehicles that contain map data for those states. They will not function in other countries outside the United States.
Lexus Insider and SiriusXM Satellite Radio* services will function in the contiguous United States and Canada. NavTraffic™,* NavWeather™*, Fuel Prices and Sports and Stocks* services are available in the 48 contiguous United States and D.C. If I purchase a Lexus Enform with Safety Connect-equipped new or used vehicle, when will my complimentary trial subscription begin?
Your complimentary trial begins when you purchase your new vehicle and lasts for one year. A Lexus Pre-Owned Vehicle that is less than one year old may have a remaining trial subscription if your purchase was made within the one-year trial period. You can be enrolled by your Lexus dealer, or you can contact the Lexus Enform* response center directly at 1-800-25-LEXUS to accept the remainder of the trial.
Does a Lexus Enform subscription include NavTraffic/NavWeather?
Advanced SiriusXM Satellite Radio* services require a valid SiriusXM subscription and are sold separately by SiriusXM. Customers who want to extend their three-month SiriusXM trial must contact SiriusXM directly at 1-877-515-3987.
I purchased a Lexus Enform and/or Safety Connect-equipped Lexus vehicle. How do I now purchase and activate a subscription plan?
Lexus Enform* and/or Safety Connect-equipped* Lexus vehicles will arrive with factory-installed systems. During a pre-delivery inspection, your Lexus dealer will verify that your vehicle is properly equipped and enroll you via an online system, or you can call 1-800-25-LEXUS directly to activate your subscription plan.
How do I operate the Lexus Enform App Suite?
The Lexus Enform App Suite* is designed to work simply and intuitively, using the Navigation* display. Some functions can also be controlled by steering-wheel-mounted buttons or by voice recognition. If you're an existing owner and would like to view a tutorial, please visit LexusDrivers.com.
If I already have accounts with certain providers, do I need to create new accounts just for the Lexus Enform App Suite?
If you already have an existing account with any of the applications included in the Lexus Enform App Suite*, simply link them during registration. This allows vehicle integration and the ability to utilize various in-vehicle controls.
When I'm away from my vehicle, can I access the Lexus Enform Apps on my smartphone?
Some Lexus Enform* Apps, including Bing™, MovieTickets.com and OpenTable®, work while away from the vehicle. You can save a point of interest, restaurant location or theater location and then transfer that location to the vehicle's Navigation System* using eDestination.
Will the Lexus Enform App Suite be standard equipment?
The Lexus Enform App Suite* is an available feature, not standard equipment.
Will all Lexus models offer the Lexus Enform App Suite and services?
The Lexus Enform App Suite* will be offered on all Navigation-equipped* 2013 and newer Lexus models with the exception of the 2013 GX. Vehicles with an existing Lexus Enform* system will not be able to upgrade to the Lexus Enform App Suite.
Will the Lexus Enform App Suite be available for retrofit in older vehicles?
The Lexus Enform App Suite* is designed into the vehicle and factory-installed. Therefore, vehicles with existing Lexus Enform* cannot be updated to include the Lexus Enform App Suite.
Which phones are compatible with the Lexus Enform App Suite?
The Lexus Enform App Suite* is compatible with a wide range of mobile phones and smartphones with a data plan such as iPhone®* and Android™*.
Lexus is currently testing Apple's newest operating system, iOS 6, and iPhone 5®* for Enform compatibility. Initial testing indicates that there should be almost complete compatibility with Apple iPhone 5* mobile digital device. If you are an iPhone 5 owner and you have restored a backup from a previous iPhone to your new device, and are encountering issues with Enform* not launching, please uninstall and reinstall the Enform Application and the issue should be resolved. Lexus will have complete test results in the near future. Please check back.
How many different mobile phones can one vehicle support?
Five different phones can be linked to a Lexus Enform App Suite* account.
While logged in to their account, the primary account holder can e-mail registration invitations to up to four other users.
