Q: What do I do if my vehicle is stolen?

Once filed, Safety Connect will initiate tracking of the vehicle and report the location to the police.

Q: If I have Safety Connect, do I receive a discount on my car insurance?

A: In some cases there may be a discount on insurance, depending upon your purchased level of vehicle coverage. Contact your insurance provider.

Q: What does the green light near my SOS button mean?

A: The green indicator shows that the system is active. All new vehicles purchased should have a green light before the customer leaves the dealership. When you are connected with a response center agent, the green light will flash on and off. Press and hold the SOS button to cancel the call, or stay on the line for the operator to respond.

Lexus Enform Remote can send instant alerts if the vehicle is started or exceeds preset limits on speed, curfew, miles driven, engine run time, total elapsed time or distance from a set location.

DOOR LOCK/UNLOCK

Now you can remotely lock and unlock your doors and receive confirmation if the action was successful. And should you unlock your Lexus remotely, the doors will automatically relock after 30 seconds if no further action takes place.

VEHICLE STATUS AND ALERTS

With the touch of a button, you can remotely check the status of your vehicle's doors, windows, moonroof, trunk, and hood, as well as the vehicle's current fuel level, odometer or trip mileage. The system can also notify you with customizable alerts.

A: The security of the system is extremely important to us. The Lexus Enform Remote app is secure, as it requires a connection back to Lexus servers. We will not allow any system that is not on the access control list to connect to the Lexus servers. The system also uses the same standard IP security protocols used by most secure websites. Anti-hacking measures beyond the app, such as on the handset, are outside of Lexus’ control.

A: No. However, your Lexus Enform response center agent can provide the phone number of the restaurant for you verbally or send the number to your on-board terminal. If you have a cell phone paired via Bluetooth®,Concentrating on the road should always be your first priority while driving. Do not use the hands-free phone system if it will distract you. The Bluetooth® word mark and logos are registered trademarks owned by Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any use of such marks by Lexus is under license. A compatible Bluetooth-enabled phone must first be paired. Phone performance depends on software, coverage & carrier. you can make a hands-free call by selecting the phone number on the Info Tab.
