In our relentless quest to evolve and improve how our vehicles are powered, we have created a most luxurious vehicle, the LS 600h L. By using a highly advanced gasoline/electric hybrid drivetrain, this vehicle reduces fuel consumption and boasts fewer smog-forming emissions [1].

The LS 600h L is the world's first V8 hybrid. By pairing a 5.0-liter V8 gasoline engine with Lexus Hybrid Drive, the vehicle delivers smooth, quiet acceleration; great responsiveness; and 438 total system horsepower [2].

The 2012 LS 600h L features a dynamic exterior with contemporary front and rear fascias including LED headlamps and taillamps, standard 19-inch seven-spoke alloy wheels [3], plus outside mirrors with integrated turn indicators. Inside, rear seats are available with adjustable butterfly-type headrests and lumbar massage. The interior has an electronic gauge cluster with an ECO Driving Indicator that helps guide you to the most efficient use of fuel. There's also an ECO mode function that, when engaged, automatically reduces the throttle response and switches the climate-control system to an energy-saving mode. By allowing you to monitor and control energy consumption, the vehicle is mindful of both your preferences and the world's resources.
