IS F Model Details

The IS F is the most performance-oriented production sedan in the Lexus lineup. Its dynamic 5.0-liter engine features performance technologies typically reserved for the track. The numbers speak for themselves: 416 horsepower [1] with 371 lb-ft of torque [1] producing a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.6 seconds [1] [2] and a top track speed of 170 mph [1] [2].

New for 2010 is a torque-sensing TORSEN® limited-slip rear differential [3], as well as redesigned BBS forged alloy wheels.

Inside, the 2010 IS F gets Safety Connect™ [4] [5], plus an available next-generation Navigation System [6] with voice command and Lexus Enform® [4] [7]. Available XM® services include XM® Radio [6] [8] [9], XM NavTraffic® [6] [9], NavWeather™ [6] [9] and XM® Sports and Stocks [6] [9]. Audio is enhanced with a standard USB input as well as Bluetooth® audio [10] connectivity for compatible music players, including iPod® [11].

When you insert your key into the ignition switch or bring a SmartAccess fob into the vehicle, the key transmits an electronic code to the vehicle. Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key or SmartAccess fob, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key or SmartAccess fob, your Lexus dealer can help. In all other accidents, the ABs will not inflate. To decrease the risk of injury from an inflating AB, always wear seatbelts, sit upright in the middle of the seat as far back as possible and do not lean against the door. Do not put objects in front of an AB or around the seatback. Do not use a rearward-facing child seat in any front passenger seat. The force of an inflating AB may cause serious injury or death.
