IS F Model Details

The IS F is the most performance-oriented production sedan Lexus has ever produced. Its dynamic 5.0-liter V8 engine features performance technologies typically reserved for the track. The numbers speak for themselves: 416 horsepower [1] with 371 lb-ft of torque [1] producing a 0 to 60 mph time of 4.6 seconds [1] [2] and a top speed of 170 mph [1] [2].

Keeping all of this power in complete harmony requires stopping and handling capabilities that match the vehicle's speed. Handling this task are Brembo® performance brakes [3] equipped with six piston front calipers plus drilled and ventilated rotors. BBS 19-inch forged aluminum alloy wheels [4] are both stronger and lighter than conventional cast wheels for improved response and performance. For 2009, the IS F remains largely unchanged from 2008. New features revolve around the interior, highlighted by an optional new two-tone Terra Cotta and black leather-trimmed interior, and a new piano black trim that has been added to the center stack when equipped with the optional voice-activated DVD Navigation System [5].
