THE 2012 IS C. LIBERATE YOUR WILD SIDE.

With the IS Convertible, stellar performance and dynamic handling keep your adrenaline pumping while state-of-the-art innovations help you navigate. The IS C is the first-ever IS convertible. A power-retractable three-piece hardtop folds into the trunk in about 20 seconds, among the fastest in its class. Sharing few exterior components with the IS sedan, the IS Convertible has a striking silhouette, top up or top down. A double-wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension are specifically tuned for the IS C. 17-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels [1] are standard. Combined with rear-wheel drive, the IS C is designed to offer excellent handling balance. Inside, the climate-control and audio systems are optimized for top-up or top-down driving. Heated and ventilated front seats with perforated leather are also available to help keep you comfortable no matter the weather.

On the technology front, an available Navigation System [2] with voice command can understand casual speech. The IS C is also equipped with several exciting technologies, including Safety Connect® [3] [4], plus available Lexus Enform® [3] [5]. Available SiriusXM services include SiriusXM Satellite Radio [2] [6], NavTraffic™ [2], NavWeather™ [2] [6] and Sports and Stocks [2] [6]. Audio is enhanced with a standard USB input as well as Bluetooth® [7] audio connectivity for compatible music players, including iPod® [8].

IS 250 C models offer a 2.5L V6 engine with direct fuel injection for great performance and excellent fuel efficiency. It has MPG ratings of 21/30/25 (automatic transmission) or 19/28/22 (manual transmission) (city/highway/combined) [9]. The IS 350 C model features a 3.5L V6 with both direct and port fuel injection, allowing it to produce 306 horsepower [10] for outstanding performance. Both engines have dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) for improved performance and fuel efficiency.

The IS 250 C is equipped with a standard six-speed manual transmission. A six-speed automatic with paddle shifters is available on the IS 250 C and standard on the IS 350 C.
