The GX 460 is all-new for 2010. The 4.7-liter V8 is now replaced by a new 4.6-liter V8 engine which offers best-in-class V8 fuel efficiency based on 2010 FPA/MPG ratings of middle luxury V8 SUVs (actual mileage will vary) and is, remarkably, more powerful despite its smaller displacement. The GX is improved with its off-road capability with features like four-wheel drive, body-on-frame design, Kinetic Dynamic Suspension System (KDSS) (now standard), Downhill Assist Control (DAC) [1] and available Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS). To further enhance its off-road composure, the GX is available with Crawl Control [2] that operates the vehicle's brakes and accelerator to maintain a slow speed in challenging terrain.
Inside, the GX has standard seating for seven, with power folding third-row seats. Features like standard heated and ventilated front seats, available heated steering wheel, semi-aniline leather trim, dual-screen Rear-Seat Entertainment System (RSES) [3], 17-speaker Mark Levinson® Premium Surround Sound Audio System [4] and three-zone climate control ensure ultimate comfort. The available Navigation System [5] now features a hard disk drive, voice command - a new, highly advanced voice recognition system, and offers XM® Radio [5] [6] [7], NavTraffic® [5] [7], XM NavWeather™ [5] [7] and XM® Sports and Stocks [5] [7] services.
