GS Hybrid Model Details

The GS 450h is the world's first high-performance luxury hybrid. Powered by Lexus Hybrid Drive, which features a port- and direct-injected 3.5-liter V6 engine, electric-drive motor and Electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT), the GS 450h produces an astonishing 340 total system horsepower [1]. The power is directed to the rear wheels to offer performance that is normally not associated with hybrid vehicles. The turning circle is just 36.4 feet. Blue highlights on the lighting and badging differentiate the GS Hybrid from conventional GS models, and a rear spoiler is available.

The GS 450h also offers an available Active Power Stabilizer Suspension System. The system can preload the stabilizer bars helping them behave like thicker bars when cornering forces are high. When the vehicle straightens out, the bars return to their unloaded state, offering a compliant ride.

The GSh features an aggressive, contemporary exterior design as well. Wheels, grille and taillamps help differentiate the 2011 model from ordinary cars. You’ll enjoy Safety Connect® [2] [3], plus an available Navigation System [4] with voice command and Lexus Enform® [2] [5]. Available SiriusXM services include SiriusXM Satellite Radio [4] [6], NavTraffic™ [4] [6], NavWeather™ [4] [6] and Sports and Stocks [4] [6].
