GSh 2009

The GS 450h is the world's first hybrid performance luxury sedan. Powered by Lexus Hybrid Drive, which features a 3.5-liter V6 engine, electric-drive motor and electronically controlled Continuously Variable Transmission (ECVT), the GS 450h produces an astonishing 340 total system horsepower [1]. It brings a new level of performance and driving feel to a sport sedan. The power is directed to the rear wheels to offer performance that is normally not associated with hybrid vehicles. Blue highlights have been added to the lighting and badging to differentiate the GS Hybrid from conventional GS models.

[1]Ratings achieved using the required premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. If premium fuel is not used, performance will decrease. [2]MSRP does not include delivery, processing and handling fee of $910. Excludes taxes, title, license and optional equipment. Dealer price may vary. Does not include accessory options installed by dealer. [3]Delivery, processing and handling fee is based on the value of the processing, handling and delivery services Lexus provides, as well as Lexus' overall pricing structure. Lexus may make a profit on the delivery, processing and handling fee. [4]Performance figures are for comparison only and were obtained with prototype vehicles by professional drivers using special safety equipment and procedures. Do not attempt. [5]EPA MPG Estimates. Actual mileage will vary. [6]Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take full advantage of the benefits of ABS. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake-system maintenance, tire and road conditions. [7]18-in performance tires are expected to experience greater tire wear than conventional tires. Tire life may be substantially less than 15,000 miles, depending upon driving conditions. Back to top
