GS Model Details

The GS features an aggressive, contemporary exterior design complemented by exceptional luxury and performance. New for 2010 is Safety Connect™ [1] [2], plus an available next-generation Navigation System [3] with voice command and Lexus Enform® [1] [4]. Available XM® services include XM® Radio [3] [5] [6], XM NavTraffic® [3] [6], XM NavWeather™ [3] [6] and XM® Sports and Stocks [3] [6]. Audio is enhanced with a standard USB input as well as Bluetooth® audio connectivity [7] for compatible music players, including iPod® [8]. Active front headrests [9] are also newly standard.

The GS 350 features a 3.5-liter V6 engine with dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) and both port and direct fuel injection. With 303 horsepower [10], the GS 350 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 in 5.7 seconds [10] [11]. For even more power, the GS 460 comes equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that results in virtually seamless shifting and acceleration with improved fuel economy. Inside the cabin, the GS features rich semi-aniline perforated leather paired with walnut or bird's eye maple wood trim.

The GS 460 offers an available Active Power Stabilizer Suspension System. The system can preload the stabilizer bars, making them behave like thicker bars when cornering forces are high. When the vehicle straightens out, the bars return to their unloaded state, offering a compliant ride.

Because the transponder chip is embedded in the key or SmartAccess fob, it can be costly to replace. If you lose a key or SmartAccess fob, your Lexus dealer can help.
