GS 2009

The GS features an aggressive, contemporary exterior design complemented with luxury and performance. The GS 350 features a 3.5-liter V6 engine with dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i) and both port and direct fuel injection. With 303 horsepower [1], the GS 350 is capable of accelerating from 0 to 60 in 5.7 seconds [1] [2]. For even more power, the GS 460 comes equipped with a 4.6-liter V8 mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission that results in smoother shifting and acceleration with improved fuel economy. Inside the cabin, the GS features rich perforated leather complemented by walnut or maple wood trim.

The GS 460 offers an available Active Power Stabilizer Suspension System. The system can preload the stabilizer bars, making them behave like thicker bars when cornering forces are high. When the vehicle straightens out, the bars return to their unloaded state, offering a compliant ride.

[1]Ratings achieved using the required premium unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 91 or higher. If premium fuel is not used, performance will decrease. [2]Performance figures are for comparison only and were obtained with prototype vehicles by professional drivers using special safety equipment and procedures. Do not attempt. [3]MSRP does not include delivery, processing and handling fee of $910. Excludes taxes, title, license and optional equipment. Dealer price may vary. Does not include accessory options installed by dealer. [4]Delivery, processing and handling fee is based on the value of the processing, handling and delivery services Lexus provides, as well as Lexus' overall pricing structure. Lexus may make a profit on the delivery, processing and handling fee. [5]EPA MPG Estimates. Actual mileage will vary. [6]Brake Assist is designed to help the driver take full advantage of the benefits of ABS. It is not a substitute for safe driving practices. Braking effectiveness also depends on proper brake-system maintenance, tire and road conditions. [7]18-in performance tires are expected to experience greater tire wear than conventional tires. Tire life may be substantially less than 15,000 miles, depending upon driving conditions. [8]17-in performance tires are expected to experience greater tire wear than conventional tires.
